Comments (3)Taupe and oak don't look good together at all as they're too close to each other so they clash. The colors that do look wonderful with oak and similar wood colors are olive and gray greens along with gray blues. We've been putting in a lot of wood trim so I've had to analyze this for the last several months. Comments (8)I would go for a stone colour so not too dissimilar to what you've got. Little Greene does a good stone colour too but will work out a bit expensive. This is Oxford stone by farrow and ball. If you were doing the windows and front door then maybe an old white with door and windows in french grey...See Moremacbroom
