I’ve had a customer not satisfied at all because of this tiling job. They didn’t like the fact that in the shower corner the joins didn’t match up bang on we explained the tiles they brought were cheap and some varied in size we even measured them and proved this! However we did what we could to try and fix it up and still wasn’t satisfied not sure what to do now? Am I in the wrong to say that there isn’t anything wrong with this tiling job?! Obviously haven’t finished either needs tidying up grouting etc. but the general tiling?
I think it looks good especially when grouted. That is the design of the tiles, they are going to be impossible to match pattern so long as grout lines match
To me it looks like you did a really good job. If the tiles differ in size ever so slightly, it's impossible to line them up exactly. They should have bought rectified tiles if this bothers them. I'm no tiling expert either, but I'm an annoying customer and I'd be happy with this :-)
I think it looks really good! We had some minor differences in the sizes on some of our tiles, the tiler explained and showed it to us and we were very happy with the outcome. We can't see the difference now it's been grouted.
