Comments (2)Colourwise I would look at apportioning your colours like so… Soft warm grey on the walls. If this is possible, tie in a subtle paper on one wall in similar colour. If a carpet is needed, just a shade down from the walls, to ground it but retain the soft base grey. Small amount of brown in dark wood, on furniture. But try and keep it light. No chunky dark woods. Choose slim legs and profiles. All loose fabrics such as floor length curtains, or roman blinds. Duvet cover, pillow cases, keep white. Accents on trims, cushions and accessories, can be quite flexible here. Could be mustard, or fuschia. But choose one colour that works and stick to it. Then just try to have soft textures in keeping with a cosy bedroom. Looking through to the en-suite. You can expand on you accent colour here, and use that to invite you in. One wall painted fuschia, or statement glass tiles. But you want the view in to be inviting. Try and use that if you can. I hope that helps....See MoreEn Suite Window facing front of house

I'm assuming that the planning restriction is because you're in a conservation area? The films come in different finishes, I've had a fairly successful go at applying a sandblasted one. There are specialist companies that will do it for you though...See Morehelp please - master bedroom layout

There is a small walk in wardrobe but I have an idea to introduce a full wall of wardrobes and make one of the wardrobes a hidden door to the en-suite / walk-in wardrobe. Is that a terrible idea? Any suggestions welcome! Need lots of storage...See MoreNicola
