I just watched Angela Scanlon, sorry I mean, Your Garden Made perfect on BBC TV. ☺️

Ok, I admit I do fancy Angela 😊 but I do think it’s actually a very well made and more than watchable program.

Really makes you long for spring and summer.

Some great designs tonight I thought.

In the main project I think I would probably have chosen the other design.

Lovely little courtyard garden too for a lovely family.

She’s a great presenter and I love her oirish accent. My husband is Irish and they are charming. I didn’t like the winning garden - looked great through the goggles but not so great in real life? It was late autumn so may be better in the summer. But £66,000 crikey! Also the I felt the weird paths were not very user friendly. The courtyard garden was good but wasn’t that fencing high? Isn’t there normally a 2m limit? A little too prison yard for my liking 😊 I agree the other garden looked much nicer and just as wildlife friendly. 🌸

She's a great presenter, just seems more ' real than most.
I'm with you too Sonia, I thought the £60k garden they chose looked ridiculous enough virtually but it was an absolute shocker in real life, and those paths were dreadful.

I did like the courtyard one but felt a bit sorry for the kids with 1/4 metre square hidden under a deck to play in 🤣

Just chiming in. If you did put in a trampoline, I'd go with one that has a net around it. However that only stops them fro falling out onto concrete. My friend is an ER doctor, trampoline fractures are particularly gruesome, often occurring at the knee when someone lands on it. Double yikes!

Agree, great new gardening programme with an engaging and enthusiastic presenter. I preferred the other design, but liked the choice of plants in the chosen design.

It was a hard call for me tonight because Carol Klein’s new programme started on Channel 5 - I’ll watch that on catch-up!
