kitchen renovation mock - mock Kitchen design
I'm renovating my kitchen and I've done a mock design of what I want it to look like.Please note I have no interior design knowledge. What do you think? Does it work? Would you change anything?
I know the placement of the fridge is odd but I'm happy to sacrifice this for work top space next to the range cooker. The boiler will in the far end top wall unit (on the same wall was the cooker next to the bifold) and washing machine in the base unit underneath. I don't plan on ever having a dishwasher.
There will be bar stools on the island.

Comments (9)Happy to help ! I'm only a short swim away in England !! I think if you want a truly opulent cream for the kitchen cabinets - I'd suggest you get a colour match for the range ! It looks a very creamy cream ! Think it could be stunning ! Then have slightly lighter walls and tiles to keep the room feeling light and airy ! If you have walnut stain for your worktop on your island , I'd suggest using that on your exposed legs if you go for the dipped paint look on the table and chairs ! Comments (0)We have just bought a house and the renovation plans are coming together nicely, but the kitchen and sitting room area have me stumped! I love modern, open plan design, so I want to join the both areas to create a big family friendly space. The balcony is a fantastic feature of the house, so I'm thinking bifold doors the length of the kitchen to let in light and join the indoor & outdoor space. 3 years ago@ellie thank you. I have space for a dinning table and large sofa in the open plan living room on the other side of the kitchen so no need for those in the kitchen.
I agree re the American Fridge freezer and making it integrated but it's new!!!!! 😅 Don't want to get rid of it. I have added room dimensions but don't have wall height.
The bifold has not been installed yet

3 years agolast modified: 3 years agoSomething along these lines could work - and give you better room between range and island and allow the fridge freezer to be opened fully ... extra cabinets in the dining room provide additional storage if required... I’ve added images into a shared folder with public access for you. Hope it helps ! ( WM as integrated one with mock drawer fronts under the boiler cupboard )
