This is the space down the side of our house. I would like us to have some sort of lean to shed along the whole wall, but don’t know how to deal with the pipes.
Is there a way we can make a shed against the wall with some sort of roof that allows for the pipe work?

Wow - quite the collection of pipes there!

Looking at them, it looks like a number of them carry waste from the house and foul waste from the house. This makes them potentially more difficult to reroute so you can lean your shed against the wall. Foul waste gets into Building Regs, so if you wanted to try shifting them you would need to ask a plumber or even an architect perhaps. Rainwater from roofs is much easier to reroute.

Another option would be to consider have a 'false' rear wall to your shed so it just stands in front of them. You would need to make sure that there was plenty of air circulation behind to prevent the build up of damp and also be sure that no water was running off the shed backwards.

Hi Shelwal, Garden Rooms can be a good idea. You would get your extra room and depending on what you decide on ( size/style/final use etc), most can be built under permitted development rules, so no planning permission would be required. We build ours with Structurally Insulated Panels (SIP) panels, so they are quick to erect, cheap to heat and last forever. You didn't give much info, so I am just guessing, it all depends on how you want to use the space exactly, when I visit potential customers I ask loads of questions to really get a feel of how they will use the space. Then when I feel I have understood as much as possible, I make suggestions. But this is what came to mind reading your message. Of course you could just build permanent racks too if you have tons of space, it's nicer to have them up always ready and waiting. So if you have them built bespoke, you can have anything you like really :)

Considering building a wall (no pun intended) along the left and right sides of the garden in this photo Left side Right side A similar type of brick to the ones used here The overall objective is brighten up the garden without trying to make it look too flashy. On the left side I'd like to plant Portuguese laurel for privacy and prevent overlooking from the adjoining property.
