removing internal oven glass to clean double glass

Hi,

I know I can remove the inside glass without removing the door. What I cannot understand is how to detach the top space cover in between the glasses to pull the internal one. Do I just pull it or do I need to use the two small bits on the side? (as the one in the picture) . Sorry not great explanation. Thanks!

you can clean the glass v easily without removing? not sure why your trying to remove

I can remove my AEG internal oven glass door for cleaning. Your instruction manual should explain how yours is done.
If you don’t have a manual you should be able to download it online, just search the brand and model.

My understanding: You didn't find any problem functionally, but you feel this looks old & need some brightness & change in this. My advise: 1). Remove towel rod, shift it next to tub or behind closet & have full length mirror, which will make your space double & reflect natural light as well thus makes the space more bright. 2). Get couple of plants (small plants or bush type or creepers which doesn't occupy much space on floor but grows vertically). 3). Get some artifacts made from bright colored glass, can flower vase or wall hangings or glass tiles etc, these can be of yellow or Bright Orange color these are to be hung on walls opp to mirror or pasted(3M tape both side glued) if you are using tiles. 4). Get a mat of same color as artifacts & place between tub & closet. these all are easily done by yourself. OR if you can afford to then replace only green tiles & floor tiles if you wish to OR all tiles.

I might consider one of the top extractors instead as it will be easier to fit a glass slashback up to a straight extractor. Personally I think the chrome looks more expensive.

Hello Houzz Ireland, We are currently renovating a 1960's build - so as you know, there is a lot of decisions to be made!! So it would be nice to get some gems of advice from the experts to help us through this daunting task. Areas where we would really like some inspiration for - small bathroom downstairs. I would really like to do something fun with this room and although small, I think it could work really well with some funky wallpaper or possibly tiles?! I'm just not sure what to do with it. Also - pulling a whole house together?! Where do we start? We have the bigger pieces of furniture but how do I know what nest of tables goes best with a suite? Or what accessories will bring a room together? I'm due a second baby in 2 weeks time so any help at this stage would be so amazing - to guide me on the right interior design path for our new house. I love the cabin in the woods, its a intimate setting where you are drawn to the outside whilst keeping snug indoors. The use of fabrics sets it apart from the usual cold designs of other modern rooms. The attention detail in the selection of furniture pieces keeps it modern yet functional.

Thanks. The manual I found is very short. I thought I could remove the glass without having to remove the door.

Yes with mine I don’t have to remove the door, the inner glass unscrews, but I suppose different models have different instructions.

Exactly! Thanks for confirming we can clean without removing the door. Mine hasn't got screws, I can' find a similar one though.
