exterior colour scheme

We are about to start on a renovation to the front of our 60’s house and I am struggling to visualise the colours.

I have decided on Farrow and Ball School House White for the render with Residence 9 Clotted Cream windows.

The front door will be oak with two sidelights.

The part I can’t decide on is the timber cladding, I had decided on a dark colour (off black) but now I’m wondering if a more tonal pale grey / green might be better?

Never been to Ireland but when I think of Irish pubs, I think of rich mahoganies and deep jeweltones. Something welcoming and friendly with a bit of blarney; steeped in tradition with a sense of humor. My quick net search has turned up exteriors of mostly primary hues but a lot is going to depend on what type of clientele the owner wants to attract. I'm not sure that color is going to be your biggest hurdle. I think style is and once you determine that, then choosing the color will follow fairly easily.

Hi.. have a look at the Colortrend colours for kitchen. You can use a darker version of wall colour for kitchen units also. Definitely paint them skirtings! hope this helps.. Tony

Hello! We bought a house with a wonderful extension that is full of French windows and light every time of the day and I’m having a hard time finding a scheme for it also because of its wooden ceilings and brick fireplace! It used to be super cozy and old fashion and after living in it for a while I painted the walls Priory Blue and Vintage Grey but still can’t decide whether white or anything else would have been a better choice! need some colour tips. I tried matching the two french doors in the living room to the ral black we have on the internal screen. The original colour on the French doors was off white . Should I paint it back or keep the black on the French doors ?
