Downstairs layout help

can anyone help me with a successful way to convert our integral garage to help improve the layout of our home which we purchased 18months ago?

our lovely new front door is be ready used as the porch has zero storage for my three young children and their various coats/wet suits/bags. Instead we store all in the garage and enter house through side garage door Which frustrates me. I’d also like a nice sight line from front door area to the garden.

we’ve opened up the kitchen dinner and it’s loads better but we feel that we’d benefit from a second reception area.

we’d love to improve the flow within the house as going through the front room to access the kitchen is not good. The stairs in the living room is also not great but willing to compromise on these as it allows 4bed rooms and an ensuite upstairs.

kitchen, dining room and garden south facing.

Any help greatly appreciated to get our main aims....

1. Create a hallway and storage so we can use the front door

2. improve flow and create sight line from front to back

3. keep utility area and d/s loo

4. 2nd reception area possibly closer to small garden
