Comments (14)Prior to adding any trims to the door, use a small piece of trim, attach it to the door with double stick tape on the hinge side and check to see that the door opens. It might not! Attaching trim to the door is more than just cutting the trim, no? Comments (3)Hi. It's difficult to say without seeing it other than paint and new handles. If you don't want to spend hours prepping the furniture try annie Sloan chalk paint (there are numerous tutorials online depending on what finish you want). Alternatively you could probably use one of the zinsser primers ( I forget which which one is best!) and then just use normal paint over the top. You could also look for wooden mouldings which you can glue on if you want something different or maybe drape fairy lights or bunting over the top...See MorePaint over or rip out the fitted wardrobe?
