Comments (74)Hello Houzz Ireland, We are currently renovating a 1960's build - so as you know, there is a lot of decisions to be made!! So it would be nice to get some gems of advice from the experts to help us through this daunting task. Areas where we would really like some inspiration for - small bathroom downstairs. I would really like to do something fun with this room and although small, I think it could work really well with some funky wallpaper or possibly tiles?! I'm just not sure what to do with it. Also - pulling a whole house together?! Where do we start? We have the bigger pieces of furniture but how do I know what nest of tables goes best with a suite? Or what accessories will bring a room together? I'm due a second baby in 2 weeks time so any help at this stage would be so amazing - to guide me on the right interior design path for our new house. Thanks, Laurie...See MoreWhat to do with lower ground patio and meters?

Comments (0)My new kitchen units are due to be installed in 4 weeks and I am really struggling to decide on flooring. One wall of units will be an off white / porcelain colour and the island & a block of 3 tall units on another wall will be marine blue. Calcatta gold quartz counters and brass hardware. It's a renovation project so new has to live alongside existing kitchen dining area (oak floors- to be refinished) and black/ white victorian entrance hallway tiles. Would love opinions on two tiles we are considering or alternate suggestion please. Room is south west facing, not especially light until evening....See Morehelp - renovating a period house and need to change room formation
Comments (22)These pictures are great, we will definitely do something with the small garden but I was thinking that the entrance floor which currently holds two living rooms will never be used unless we change this to the kitchen / living area as this is currently where we spend all our time. We could still have a small kitchenette in the basement next to the large sitting room to sit out on a nice day but otherwise I feel we will spend all our time on the entrance floor / first floor...See MoreRavenswood Designs
