Curtain Colour for living room

Hi All,

Wondering what curtain color or style would go with the colours we have in the living room.
The walls are Wild Garlic (grey) and the feature wall is Ox Vein (dark blue).

Living Room is south facing. Its a bay window with 4 sections.

Our couch is greyish. We have wood floors.

We like the wave style curtains from Hillarys but dont know what colour to go with that compliments the wall colours.

Can't comment on Hillarys as we dont have them in Ireland. Love the grey and blue so I would stick to grey but either get a really similar colour or go a few shades darker in the same colour. If you love contrast then bring in the blue in the curtains but my preference would be to stick to grey and perhaps introduce some blue into cushions (floral or geometric pattern perhaps). The wave are really nice and will keep the design modern and clean!

Is the chandelier thing seeming a bit small for the room or is it just me? Given that your walls are plain, the sofa is plain how about a patterned rug? Do you like Persian rugs? I find that dark green wainscotting too heavy and would paint it a lighter color. Given you have just moved in I assume you are planning to be there a while. If you like traditional style do you want a fairly safe color scheme re walls and curtains, keeping future resale in mind. Or are u happy to decorate according to your tastes? The mirror seems a bit small to me.

Our living room is a cosy size, about 15x15. It has a large window on one wall, fireplace on the opposite (will be a cream cast iron traditional style fireplace). I was thinking of painting it a very mellow sage green but am at a loss with what curtains to put in.
