Advise about a colour of a cabinet!
We are now finishing our bathroom, which I don't think we can call the bathroom anymore! Everything was going fine until we added a cabinet which I painted in tilbury teal Dulux, the colour is lovely and the cabinet looked really nice until we brought in and placed in the new room. I am not sure if this colour goes well with the dark floor. Any advice? Should I maybe change the colour of the cabinet to something grey?

Comments (1)Black is a notoriously hard colour to keep clean, especially in a kitchen area. I would suggest using a laminate, especially if you are going for a slab door. There are a variety of effects that may be suitable. It has the best advantages of being easy to clean and durable, avoid gloss colours if you are worried about scratch marks. 3 years agoGorgeous! I think the teal adds a nice muted pop of colour. I agree with Minnie's suggestion to change the bath mats and towels, the styling doesn't match the room.
If your still unconvinced you could try changing the handles to a different style and colour. Maybe dark grey / black to match your towel radiator or light fixture. Or go handle-less with a push-to-open mechanisms or a pull-notch. Or a discreet ledge handle.
