We have a few leaks from our plumbing and need to replace all of our radiator valves. This gives us the opportunity to alter heights etc. we live in a period property with 180mm height edwardian skirtings and have the Acova column style radiators with pipes from below. We have justnpurchased some period valves. Normally I would have thought the radiators should be hung above the skirtings, will this look weird as the pipes will be very long? Architecturally is there a standard approach? a couple of the radiators are the 4 column thick low rise 300mm radiators, team worried if these in particular will look weird raised up....
