living room paint colours - suggestions appreciated

I have a brown leather sofa, walnut stained floor and coffee colour curtains, curtains I made so want to keep them. I was going to go with cream but now I’m thinking will it all be too brown neutral. The two openings at the right side of the fireplace will be cupboards.
The fireplace isn’t Centre in the room either. I don’t want to paint the chimney an accent colour as the room is tall but not wide and think it will close it in. I could paint the wall under the mezzanine a different colour. Is cream my best option maybe!

What a space!

How about considering a white, or off-white, or alternative near neutral, before selecting cream? If you do choose cream, let it be because you love it in your space, rather than thinking it your only option.

View paint chips before sampling in your space, to see which best fits with your floors and lighting before sampling further.

Pulling one colour up over the walls and across the ceiling will blur the boundaries and add to a sense of airiness.

Which Hue Family does it belong to and where within that Hue Family does it sit? (Hue)

Which appears lighter? (Value)

Which is more neutral? (Chroma)

Which reflects the most light? (LRV)

Hi ...Zaz I am not sure what went on here in Houzz .... While I have been away ..(sneezing coughing sweating) Whatever it was Move on from it !! as best you can ... I've a large open plan pitch roof kitchen that leads into a standard size living room. I've painted my living room F&B Pigeon and railings on the skirting board to match the railings on the island in the kitchen. I had planned to paint the kitchen pigeon but I'm now doubting my decision. Any suggestions on alternative colours to complement the pigeon or should I just go bold?

I live in a rented property so unfortunately I’m not permitted to paint the walls. I’m stuck with a boring magnolia on the walls in the living room. The floors are a light wood and the sofas are dark brown leather. I have bought this rug - see photo. I would like to add some nice curtains and cushions to make the room warm and cosy but I’m not sure what colours to go for. Any advice much appreciated, thank you.

I have a large rectangular living room / music room which is two rooms in one. The living room is South West Facing and the Music room is North East facing. I am thinking of painting the walls White Tie by Farrow and Ball and the skirtings and door frame Matchstick. One problem is the window frame and sills are white UPVC. The ceilings are 8ft high so have opted for a pure, brilliant white ceiling. The dado rail is going and all the furnishings will be neutral with black piano and fireplace. I would appreciate any advice here and thanks!
