Laying engineered flooring - glue or float

N O'D

Hi, we are in the process of renovating a house.. we have purchased 80sqm of engineered flooring to cover the entire ground floor of house. We are getting conflicting ideas re how it should be laid. Flooring shop is advising glueing down (where floor runs seamlessly throughout house) whereas fitter is advising it to be floated and breaking up the floor in each room.
I dont want saddle boards and prefer a seamless finish.
Is it feasible to lay floor seamlessly or would it have to be broken up?
