what should we do with this wall alcove?
we are in the middle of a loft conversion and have to make a quick decision about what to with an alcove our joiners have built (because we asked for under eave storage)
The room will be used by our son who is almost 1.
We have decided that we want to remove the shallow recesses to each side of the main alcove, but need to decide what to do with the alcove itself, including whether we should keep it.
we are confused as to whether we should add shelves, turn it into a cupboard, make it a big box for toys, or do something different.
we're not sure to handle the skirting board (should it run inside the alcove?) and the fact that the window ends below the top of the wall.
any help or ideas would be most welcome!
