Hi we are looking for ideas and inspiration for our downstairs-we need a kitchen, utility area, study and living area. We'd like bi-fold doors onto a patio but are stuck on where everything should go. What do you think?
It would make sense to have dining area closest to kitchen. you could remove wall between kitchen and living room to create a kitchen/diner and turn front dining room into another living room, if needed
You say you need a kitchen, utility area, study and living area, but from the floor plan it seems you already have all that (if the snug can be used as an office), so I don't really see what the question is.
As for the bi-folds and patio, I guess you need to figure out where the best place for the patio is, front or back garden, and then put the doors there. Depending what is on the other side of the walls it seems that could be the living room, dining room or the snug.
