Swapping Kitchen & Dining Room - cost

Hi all

I’m looking for some thoughts on swapping the kitchen and dining room around in the floorplan attached - currently the dining room leads to a conservatory. I’d prefer to have a bigger kitchen and a smaller dining room if possible however I’m looking for an approximate cost of switching the 2 rooms

Any advice would be appreciated

The expensive bit is moving the water as I assume the drain is by the kitchen window. Moving will involve a pipe with a draining angle (so the further away, the deeper one end needs to be)
As an alternative if it's just for size that you're changing it, could you move the kitchen wall and use that big cupboard space and then replace this storage (as I bet it's really useful) in the existing dining room.

Thanks everyone. AMN - The lighting in the photo isn't great - the walls and venetian blinds are both white and the green is a wallpaper. I've a TV on one side and radiator on the other side of the wall but I do like the idea of painting it a different colour. What do you mean by "because the sectional is too big for the space already" thanks! Dar Eckert - like your suggestion of introducing another colour, I was thinking about aubergine but again it could be over modern and not the slightly warm vibe I'm looking for - what do you think? Carolyn - thanks for posting the rug, going to look it up and see about shipping costs etc to Ireland from that site. Really happy with the rooms but we've just had a baby and I want a bit more of a cosier feel with her around whilst still keeping with my modern twist!! Long post, sorry!!!

I would definitely go for a larger kitchen therefore a swap. Also if structure allows to remove this little bit of unnecessary wall by current kitchen entrance would make the space more open.( I think in the other plan I see it is happening?) the outside door swap for a window is a very good idea in my mind.
