Room for a walk in wardrobe?

We are about to move into a fairly new house which has an en suite in the master bedroom. The current owners have a double wardrobe next to the bed and there seems to be a lot of floor space.

I am wondering whether there would be enough room to put up a partition wall and some storage in the other side and to put the bed against that wall so it faces the window.

The room is 4.24 x 3.63 and there are already built in wardrobes.

One of the reasons I want to put up the wall is that my partner gets up much earlier than I do so when they are in the shower I don’t want to hear them.

Do you think there is enough room? I know that on the bed side of the wall there would only be a bed and side tables, but that would be fine, it would not be cluttered.

Would anyone suggest a wall with gaps either side to walk around?

Hi! You have quite a big room, which means you could build a walk-in wardrobe with an access to the bathroom. It will make it quite cosy around the bed area, but it will become a very functional space with a separation between the room and the bathroom.

It is a bit hard to have a look at the floor plan without actually scaling it, but if you need any help with the layout and the creation of your new walk-in wardrobe, feel free to text me! I am an interior designer and I would love to help imagine that space a bit more into details!

I really only need the sliding doors I think as I have the body of the wardrobe well worked out I have ended up with needing 6ft by 6ft sliding doors and a few accessories for inside as I already had the poles and my husband is a chippy so he helped me with the body of it. Can you still help me, I hope so.

Maybe use glass fronted tall cupboards and chests of drawers instead of wardrobes to reduce the impact on the space in the room. Storage space will still be usable but not as obtrusive.

ugh, we're very lucky to be building our own house but I'm not enjoying how much work that involves. this is the random space I have for my walk in wardrobe - pentangular room without a doorway from the master bedroom, 630mm to the wall on the left which is 1780, then the facing wall is 1650mm, there's a 45°angled corner and 1580mm more, then 630mm to the original wall with 1255mm back to that door. I'm thinking shoe racks for 600mm inside the door on the left then hanging rail at top and middle of the rest of it over as far as the corner. Then vanity section with mirror and drawers below for make up and trinkets etc. then I'm a bit lost.... what should the break down of hanging vs shelving be and what about drawers!! I'm quite messy but am typically good at folding!!
