We live in a bungalow and would like to extend main bedroom out front of house. This can be done as not overlooked. We are thinking of 4m x 2.5m as an apex to match front of house. We have extended en-suite into original bedroom space by 500 cm to give space for larger shower area and perhaps storage. Will it work with one area for bedroom and another for storage? We would like doors out to garden and possibly roof window. If possible we would vault extension but it is only 2.5 metres out. On photos the bedroom is on the right of the front door and not as on original plan.
It is cheaper to keep the shower room in the same place. But personally I would save money on vaulted ceilings and Velux windows as I think the right layout will give the biggest bang for your buck.
Great. Since you are going to be investigating the cost consider if there are drains near the front door and if it is possible to consider this layout too
