Our electric job has a very old and worn/discoloured surround. I can’t even work out what it’s made off! Any suggestions for how to either replace it, remove it or repaint it in some way to improve it please?
If the surround is that old that it’s crumbling away would it be worth while trying to ‘tart it up’. How efficient is the actual hob? I’d just replace it altogether for an induction.
Needs replacing I’m afraid. Some are very reasonably priced. I recently changed mine and it was less than £300 for a ceramic hob, a little bit more for an induction hob.
