Hallway colour scheme help

We are getting our hall and landing painted next week and I've got a few ideas and I'm struggling to choose one! Your help would be greatly appreciated 😊 we are keeping the dark wood flooring for now and would like to change to a bold Victorian contemporary style in the future. We are getting a caramel sisal wool stair runner and we'd definitely like to paint to the steps black/charcoal, we're just not sure of the rest and we're getting the landing done at the same time so whatever we choose needs to somehow tie in.

All your ideas are simply lovely. They will all look good but the last is just stunning - bit of a more modern take on the Victorian look.

Is the chandelier thing seeming a bit small for the room or is it just me? Given that your walls are plain, the sofa is plain how about a patterned rug? Do you like Persian rugs? I find that dark green wainscotting too heavy and would paint it a lighter color. Given you have just moved in I assume you are planning to be there a while. If you like traditional style do you want a fairly safe color scheme re walls and curtains, keeping future resale in mind. Or are u happy to decorate according to your tastes? The mirror seems a bit small to me.

Hi all, currently repainting house. I'm struggling with kitchen. Walls have just been painted Recollection by Colourtrend and Cabinets due to be painted Stonework by Colourtrend. Really confused as to what colour island should be. Kitchen has creamy/light brown tiles and the countertops are walnut. Maybe I went completely wrong with Recollection on walls....? Appreciate any advice!

I love the last one too (I’ve added the photo as they don’t always load in the same order!). I don’t know what you think of this? I like the way they have used a black over the dado rail (paint colour is paint and paper library temple, their desert rose is also lovely.

Thank you Saddaf and Sonia, our hall is South East facing and the front near the door gets a good amount of light but on a cloudy day the way leading to the dining room, which only has one window is quite dark and we have a lot of woodwork there so we're thinking that area needs to be white. We've found another idea which we absolutely love, do you think we should go with this colour scheme but paint the skirting boards black and the rest of the wall the off white and the dado rail the same colour so it disappears or should we paint the wall under the dado rail black too? I've posted more pics of our hall so you can get an idea.
