layout dilemma

We have a large conservatory that we have had a solid insulated roof put on as well as an air conditioning unit so we can use it all year round.
We currently use the room as a family room with a corner sofa and tv out there.
I would like to have a shuffle around in the room but have no idea what to do. We are going to have some work done to the house with non Load baring walls coming down so we could open up the window from the study and possibly close up either of the door ways we currently have.
I am open to any sort of suggestion or idea for what to do.

My suggestion:

Add glass doors to the hallway, because your hallway doesn't need as much heating as your living areas (and heat goes up the stairs). And leave in the utility, even be it just for shoes and draught.

If I may ask.. Why the side extension? It doesn't seem to add a lot to the layout but (expensive) floorspace. Large family? Extra bedrooms upstairs?

Layout dilemma/ possible kitchen extension or remodel

Hi, advice gratefully received. Love our new house, but the ground floor layout is not great. Long narrow kitchen facing east, garden is big so scope to extend. As it stands you come in from the hall into the lounge to get to the kitchen. I would like to have some separation so that the lounge can be closed when desired. Perhaps some double doors? I was thinking to use a chunk of the lounge and knock through into the kitchen which would also allow more light. Lounge is lovely and light, kitchen is dark after lunch. Ideal solution would be a side extension, but drains and pipes in the way so worried about the cost.. Would only require about a metre wide along the actual kitchen which I would then face towards the garden and create a sitting area. Any ideas welcome P.S. Conservatory is a junk room at the moment, facing a fence on the right hand side. The garage is used as a utility.

Yes it will be a 2 storey extension which will give us 2 extra en-suite and an extra bedroom (5 altogether). The downstairs to right right of the dining table is going to be an office/coat shoe area like in the photos attached. At the very back of that is a pantry/food storage area.

Why not leave the utility as pantry then? Add an extra freezer, come in with groceries and unpack on the spot. Plus that kitchen will hold crazy amounts of items. Just a suggestion though ;)
