Dark beige living room

Hello everyone!I'm trying to liven up my living room and inject some colour.
Originally I was thinking of doing foxglove Moda on the fireplace wall and denim drift on the other three but now I'm afraid this will be too dark as it's a North facing room.So new idea is denim drift with nutmeg.would love to know what you think.im really struggling with picking colours for this room.
My couch is a light grey leather and the flooring is a medium brown wood.
