Hi there!
I am an interior design student and I have created a survey on accommodation after COVID-19. It is very short and would only take a minute. I would be very thankful to anyone who would participate!

I participated in your survey, and I believe things like these are super important if we want things to get better. One of the things I find the hardest during the pandemic is traveling.

I would go with what the architect suggested. That was my immediate thought and also means that you will get light into your living area all day since the kitchen would be at the front and the living room at the back. It will be a nicer space to live in. If you really can't face bedrooms at the front though could you do something like this? It clearly isn't to scale!! You probably sacrifice a bit of space in that smallest bedroom but gain much more liveable floor space at the front of the house. It also gives your husband the open pan area he likes. It does sacrifice a separate entrance way though. I'd also shift the bathroom wall out and steal some space from the utility room so that you have a larger bathroom.

Got the bath for free. Builder literally moved the wall frame to accommodate it. Concerned it looks ridiculous as its a tight squeeze so any ideas of what I can do to make this bath look ok in the room. I'm going to paint the tub a different colour. Don't say get rid of the bath cos it's not an option!!!

I think it looks great so far. Many of the ads for claw foot tubs, and magazines, show them with encaustic/cement tile and plain white surround. Also, you did something creative and attractive with the tile layout. I love the nickel shine of your clawfoot legs too. If you can maybe get a corner shelf on one side of the wall, you'll have a place for soap, candle or bubble bath. And maybe hotel towel holder on another wall to get the height up.
