Where is Augmented reality?

Hello, I installed the Houzz app to use the Augmented reality features but I can't find them anywhere? All I can find is the 'View in 2D' I wanted to use 3D.

Hello CG, you can buy some of these and try them on site. From the pictures you posted I get the feeling you have 2 colors with similar saturation both fighting for attention. It's a little too much. I would keep the green but go softer on the red (i.e rust). You can also let yourself be inspired by the grey/silver/bordeaux floral and stripe pillows to create a brand new color scheme using these colors instead. For example, a very soft gray on the walls, gray carpet, grey/bordeaux combo in the curtains and for the sofa accents, pillows similar to these 2. It's decision time. Go for what speaks to you, but do it with elegance :-)

Hi PCmom, sstarr and lefty47. Thanks a million for the comments and views. I'm taking it all on board. PCmom I like the frosted glass idea but I think it will block too much light. We are actually thinking of doing this though in our front sitting room as the window is floor to ceiling. Love the recycled lumber idea and it looks great in the photo - think my husband is hell bent on steel shelving though. sstarr - I'm gonna have a look at your profile pics now but I don't think we will have enough wall space for floor to ceiling pantry. lefty47 we are keeping the appliances for now. It is only the oven - its not the prettiest but its functional and we will most definitely get a new fitted one in the future. There are a few other pictures there of the room around and the left wall - can you not see them? If not I can try and add them again. I'm glad you liked the toilet paper. It took me ages to decide where to place that! What does everyone think about colours of the cabinets? I think we might go for a neutral tone on the wall (unless anyone can visualise anything better?) and either with the steel shelving or possibly the recycles ,lumber idea from PCmom? Hi Mairebee and hi Victoria ! Thanks for the mention ! Drawers seem to be more popular than cupboards nowadays - as easier to access what's in there - and shelves look pretty but in reality they can get greasy so are a bit high maintenance !! Appliance postponing is dependent on the final design - could be in various different places ! As you have a fab sized room to work with !! The way we work is we'd sketch a few variations first then CAD up the one ( or mix of various ones) that you feels works best for you and the tweak it so it's just right! ( for about the cost of a dishwasher ) we then supply all the jpegs of the plans and perspectives and panoramics in to a PDF with a complete item list so you can shop around with ease !! I love the cabin in the woods, its a intimate setting where you are drawn to the outside whilst keeping snug indoors. The use of fabrics sets it apart from the usual cold designs of other modern rooms. The attention detail in the selection of furniture pieces keeps it modern yet functional.
