I don’t think I have a style as I just tend to choose what I like. Having said that I think I veer towards mid century, although my kitchen and utility are quite country style, oak worktops and wimbourne white painted shaker units. Am I just confused?

I too like different styles being mixed up. Old with new; mid century with Victorian. Maximalism with minimalism.

Great topic! I aspire to being happy with what I choose. I love all styles and admire confidence and quirkiness. I also love advice. I would however expect a visitor to my home to say I’m more in the traditional camp rather than the on trend camp.
We’ve just started using MSTeams at work and I’m surprised at the number of colleagues who’s rooms are completely white/neutral ( not fake backgrounds). I was the only one sitting in a blue room.

Sorry I should say, the neutral/white rooms were all lovely - not a criticism 💕

Seeing you mention country style @Sonia, did you ever see the episode of George Clarke’s Old House, New Home where a young mum with a small house in South East London (I think) wanted to go for country style?

I thought the end result was very good. Country but with a modern twist.

Oh and there seemed to be a bit of flirtatious chemistry between them... 😊
