Sorting strike plate for deadbolt

Hi all, first time home owner.


Trying to sort the attached picture, I think it's called a strike plate? The deadbolt from a door goes through the bigger bit. As you can see, quite rusted. Googling has come up utterly blank at trying to find any more resembling this. Any idea where I can find a new one like this?


The other issue is the bottom of the door scraping onto it, which hasn't helped, what do you think is the best way to solve that?

    Hi Bob,


    Take it to any metal smith. They'll be able to make you a new one with the exact same dimensions. Most should be able to send and receive small items by post.
