My small windowless bathroom currently has square white tiles around the bath (shower over bath) with grout that is unpleasantly off white. I suspect the whole tiling job was done by a DIYer as it's a bit uneven.
My impulse is to replace the whole area of tiles and grout, and I'd like to take this opportunity to have something different. At first I thought sulphur yellow but maybe that would look dated quickly? Or navy blue metro tiles but the bathroom would be too dark? There is a large mirror opposite and light grey paint on untiled walls so perhaps I'm being a bit over cautious. What do you think?
Also is bright coloured grout a big mistake? I'm so tempted.
