We have leak in a fitted dishwasher but cannot move it out as the leak has penetrated the supporting board and the back leg has sunk into it. Any ideas how we can remove the board or raise the leg. We can't reach the back leg without moving it forward.
Have you googled the model number to see if there's an owners manual/installation book you can download or looked on the manufacturers website for the manual.
There's usually a black hexagonal head with a slot and has a double headed arrow above it thats used for raising and lowering the single back foot, this is in the middle at the bottom of the machine behind the plinth, assuming that the connecting rod is still working you need to turn that so the foot loosens and it will then allow the machine to slide forward on the board. There should also be some fixings at the front going into the worktop and side units, if you can't see any some machines had fixing points down the sides which would have a couple of covercaps over them which you prize off to get to the screws. If its a really old machine it might have 4 legs, in which case you have to reach round and with a large flat head screwdriver turn the feet (it has slots for this) or you may be lucky and there's enough room to get a spanner or grips on the legs. Failing that a big hammer, a drill with some long drill bits to drill away at the board, brute force and ignorance along with a lot of swearing.
