Grey sofa colours to pop

Hi,
I'm buying a sofa and was thinking a light grey for the main sofa with a floral grey cushion. See picture.

What other colour can I bring into the room to give it life? I have a dark brown stove and an oak floor. Would a blue or teal work or should I go brighter with yellow, orange or pink?

I think you could do ANY of those colors! I love gray and aqua but gray and yellow are also very popular.

While the sofa is cream, my room is done in greys, browns with teal and coral accents. It works very nicely.

I think your colors are restful so I would work with those and not pop a color. Maybe some interesting artwork that had some color in it, but I think you should go for a more elegant calm look. By the way, I like the chandelier you have with the fireplace. I think I would paint the lower part of your wall the same blue as is in the top part. Then I would add some black accents in glass and lamps. Curtains that have a sheen or gold thread would be nice.

Gorgeous sofas! Would you consider using the Thibaut print suggested by Judy G Designs in a soft fold Roman shade? You don't say how many windows there are in the room. But Straight edge on the bottom, outside mount, clean and simple. The print has enough activity.

Thank you soo much for your compliments. It makes me happy as we did everything ourselves (took a while since only had sometimes time during the weekends). id love to see your kitchen as soon as you have the bodbyn installed. What colour countertops/backsplash, floors do you have? can buy a small “tester” can/container and try it. Can always be painted over. we really dont have much exposed wall directly next to the cabinets... except for the 15”deep (island against the wall). we have large opening above that “breakfast” counter to the family room (so as we sit we can watch tv that’s over the fireplace.). That room we also decided to paint the same as the kitchen. would have been too tight to have an island in the middle of the kitchen.

I like the options that you'd listed, but I'd also look into a brighter bamboo or apple green .

Kimdee24 ~ just the right amount of turquoise and distributed nicely through out the room. and i love the pop of red... Being a lover of turquoise.. that colour gets my vote!
