How to improve an annoying wall feature
Hello!
This wall feature has slightly annoyed me since we moved in and changed the style of the room to suit us but now staying in I am even more frustrated with it.
We have brass and gold features around the room so the silver doesn't go and it just doesn't go with the style of room. We can't remove it easily and I thought we should paint it to match the walls but fiance disagreed. We would still have the problem of the silver...
How do I cover it up? Or make it fit? We have a few plants dotted around the room - and usually flowers in those vases - so maybe just covering it in greenery??

Just wanted to suggest that you try pulling the nesting tables forward to be more in line with front of the chairs & placing your floor lamp to the back of them. Comments (5)Hi. I love your couch and if light is an issue, I would think about a large mirror because it'll bounce the light around the room (your little starburst one is a bit wasted over there). Mirrors don't have to be expensive - look in charity shops and second hand shops. If you go for a large canvas, make it quite colourful so the boring walls fade away. Again, you don't have to spend a fortune - there are lots of websites with affordable art. A floor lamp would be great and if you get a ceiling light, make sure it isn't so low that it blocks whatever fabulous new item you have hanging behind the couch. Comments (37)It looks very good James. Even though as you say it was a clients design build, it works fine. Once the Island has stools it will fill it out better. Has that naked look at the moment. The position of the wine rack might cause issues but overall it looks like a really clean and fresh kitchen. Plenty of natural light and the colours compliment each other.
