We had a large extension with low (no?) threshold sliding doors for disabled use. Floor is screed over ufh. At the time we planned to use 18mm engineered wood, so the screed was finished 18mm below doors.
But have since discovered LVT..much more practical for us.
Problem is it’s only 2.5mm thick as opposed to 18mm. How will we avoid a trip hazard at the doors now? We can’t raise the entire floor as the area is much too big & we have kitchen, loo, etc in!
Can someone please advise how this can be solved? It’s worrying me! Thanks
