What to do under the stairs?
Comments (6)I love the reading nook, too. We had one in our old house, we called it our "Harry Potter cupboard" and the kids' toys had a home there. Love the open shelf idea, could also do floating shelves, drawer seating with a cushion (drawers giving storage) for the reading nook...oh the possibilities are such fun!...See MoreStairs and landing ideas??

Comments (0)Hi all. Looking for advice on using this space under our stairs. Have seen many lovely reading nooks/ bench ideas but our problem is there is no ‘end wall’ to join a bench on to as there is a door into the kitchen area. Think it would look strange to come out of the kitchen and have a low bench area protruding out but maybe it wouldn’t 🤷🏻♀️ Have a console table on the other side of the hall so reluctant to put anything like that in the space. Any suggestions much appreciated!...See MoreE D
