Dispute with door company

I had a steel door fitted in January. Got locked out and had to get a locksmith to help me gain entry. The door company was not available as it was Sunday. I have asked them to pay the locksmiths bill. The door is under guarantee and should not have failed. The company said it may have dropped.
Any advice welcome

I can't zoom in on your photo to get a closer look. Maybe you could take some close up shots. Alternatively you can add a contemporary pelmet box above and the blinds can be mounted into this. I would recommend having them custom made by a professional company with a quality installer. Roman blinds on a chain side winder mounted above the doors would also work well. Free standing washing machine behind a 600 mm door

I am getting a new kitchen and will be housing my washing machine and tumble dryer in behind tall kitchen cabinets. I have to go for a 600 mm width door/cabinet and a 700 mm door as the company do not do bespoke sizes and I am restricted by a boiler on top anyway. The depth for both units will be 700 mm. My tumble dryer will go behind the 700 mm width door which is fine (it has already been behind similar for years). I was hoping to put the washing machine in the 600 mm width unit but the kitchen company are saying I have to get an integrated one. Not really sure why as the width of the washing machine is 595 mm, the same as many integrated ones and I will have the 700 mm depth for the pipes at the back. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Help on flooring on concrete staircase

Hi everyone, I'm about to move into a new build Duplex, where the staircase when you come in the front door is currently concrete (picture attached). I'd like this to have wooden flooring on it, like the picture of the Showhouse attached), but I'm finding it difficult to find a company who will do this.
