Solution for slidey carpet stairs?

Hi, My stair carpet has become slidey over the years so looking for a solution without losing the carpet. I looked up nosing but the angle of the nosing probably wouldn’t work with the way the carpet has been fitted (the edges are too rounded)

Are there any other solutions suitable? Eg non slip tape which can be attached to carpet? I couldn’t find anything on google :(

Do you mean the carpet is sliding or are you sliding on the carpet?

If you mean you slide on the carpet when walking on it, how about getting slippers (if you wear slippers!) made with rubber soles? If slippers aren’t your thing, something like Skechers shoes have rubber soles and give a really good grip. I can’t think of anything you can do with the actual carpet I’m afraid.
