I wanted to share our DIY bed, a low cost build

Hi, we wanted to build a floating bed.

We bought a second hand double electric bed base for £50, some planks of wood, shutter ply and batons plus some stain. Here are some pictures. I just love it gives the bedroom a calming feel and makes a small bedroom feel bigger.
