My daughter has a large but awkward room. I’m unsure how to lay It out and what to add in! I’m on a budget but The beds borrowed etc so do need new things!
Just one idea which we did in my daughter’s room. She has an awkard chimneybreast on the wall opposite the door too. We built a shelf across one of the alcoves (full depth of the alcove) at mattress height. This meant we could turn the bed sideways across the chimneybreast and the shelf acts as a nice big bedside table for her.
Doing this would open up some options for you and means the foot of the bed doesn’t have to face the door?
