Comments (8)Maybe if you stuck to one colour scheme such as white and purple or grey and lime green, colours that compliment each other. You could have a cabinet on the larger side with some family photos or a mirror above it and maybe a single colour on the top half of the wall and a complimentary wallpaper on the bottom half. You could go for wood on the floor or a simple soft carpet but it might get muddy. You could also have a bench with storage underneath for shoes and bags, but try get a colour that matched the walls. Comments (1)Hi, I think any of those 3 could look good, with white elsewhere as a contrast and bringing in some bright warm colours with cushions, throws etc. We repainted our house last year and used Farrow and Ball colours - Elephants Breath is very popular and looks great in our living room, we used their darker greys in our sitting room and hall. Comments (1)RAL 7044 is a good chameleon colour that will pick up the grey/green tones in the tile. It is quite light and the colour changes with different lighting. Keep it simple and choose a natural coloured carpet for the stairs....See More

4 years agoColour is so subjective. When I look at Strong White I don’t even see grey, let alone green. It looks more a very pale beige. I think dark accessories such as black picture frames and black lighting (or brass if black is a step too far!). I don’t know how big your hall is, but a black or wooden console table can look stunning. it so depends on your decor taste of course. I think once you have accessorised that will draw your eye rather than the blank walls. Here’s some ideas how neutral decor can be lifted with black, but it would still work with wooden frames and console with touches of black.
