IKEA bodbyn grey kitchen - wall paint
Comments (22)Thank you soo much for your compliments. It makes me happy as we did everything ourselves (took a while since only had sometimes time during the weekends). id love to see your kitchen as soon as you have the bodbyn installed. What colour countertops/backsplash, floors do you have? can buy a small “tester” can/container and try it. Can always be painted over. we really dont have much exposed wall directly next to the cabinets... except for the 15”deep (island against the wall). we have large opening above that “breakfast” counter to the family room (so as we sit we can watch tv that’s over the fireplace.). That room we also decided to paint the same as the kitchen. would have been too tight to have an island in the middle of the kitchen....See MoreHelp with bedroom colour
Comments (12)Hi. I'm not that keen on the paper with the rest of the room, it doesn't look bad at all but it doesn't look stunning either imo. Everything else looks to be more of a greige? I'd look at the same paper in truffle, sable, dark linen or even the pewter may work ( hard to tell colours on screen so would get samples of all!). I agree with the others, would go for plain bed linen and add pattern in cushions and/ or throw. It looks as if a chalk pink would work best with the greige. Maybe a chalky white for the remaining furniture. You could also break up the window ŵall by adding a trim and maybe Pom poms to the bottom of the blind. A little antique gold for accessories, lights etc would also work well....See MoreRender and Window Colour Combination
Comments (0)Hi, Moving into a new house which is currently painted white with white PVC windows. We're planning on replacing the windows with Aluclad windows and I was looking for suggestions on colour combinations. Initially, I was thinking that I'd repaint the house white and go with Anthracite Grey frames. However I'm a little worried that it's very fashionable at the minute and might date in the next couple of years. I've also seen a few houses lately with lighter coloured windows which looked good. One had a grey with what looks to be almost an olive undertone with the walls painted a deep creamy shade. I'd be really interested to hear what colour combinations other people have gone for and whether I risk dating the house as '2016' with a white/dark grey/anthracite combination. I'll post photos later of the house as it is currently and a mock up of the house with dark grey windows. Thanks a million!!...See Morebest colour co ordinate for sofa and chaise please
Comments (8)I understand..I think that the chair fabric should have some colour reference to the others... another thing you might think about is to maybe have the chair the same as the sofa then you can have a pattern fabric on the chaise....See MoreSonia
