Unable to upload photos

We know there have been problems uploading photos on Houzz for the last week or so. Have reported it to Houzz but haven’t even received a reply. Uploading text is fine, but attach a photo and it all disappears. Anyone else reported it?

There’s also problems in the app trying to read threads - with chunks of text missing and needing to scroll past miles of blank white parts .... they need to get their act together a bit on this ! The email addresses I have for Houzz support staff are for people who’ve now left . Will see if I can report this too - to the general support address .

Thank you for the pointer, some really nice lighting solutions on that site :). In fact I'd sketched the idea I wanted but for some reason the PDF with my sketch didn't upload with the other 2 images. Tried it again just now. Can't see anything anywhere like the this rounded half ball design

There may have been too much text on the posting. Not sure what device you're on but it doesn't work on an iPad if there's too much text! Try uploading again or if that doesn't work create a new Ideabook and save them in there

Hi Minnie, Eleanora asked me loads of questions which I answered but haven’t heard back from her yet. Still not able to upload photos every time, sometimes it works but usually it doesn’t!

I had a problem uploading pics the right way up and my contact there (Jude) found no problem and did them for me. She was going to get tech people to contact me . This was just last week.

Thanks Sonia, I don't seem able to unless I upload a photo at a time without text which is annoying (for everyone!). Every few months there's a photo issue but it usually depends on what device you're on and whether you use the app etc. Houzz has been so quiet in the last year it puts you off going on at all!

Had a reply from Houzz below. I’ve updated the Houzz app, even though I never use it, and my iPhone and iPad are all up to date. I’ll see how it goes uploading screenshots of their emails!

Oneplan It looks like it’s the users fault again, not! Times I’ve heard that from companies when in fact it’s a mechanical fault or a bug in their system. Things were fine until a couple of weeks ago. I managed to upload my screen shots above, but that means nothing as we all know.......

I’ve been using the App, which I’m not keen on, but photos have been uploading okay. Fingers crossed.

I find that the app has lots of problems that OnePlan mentioned, however it's much easier to upload photos from there! Before now I've written a post on the website on my laptop, and then uploaded the photos from my phone after! lol

Thanks Gabby. Never had this photo uploading problem until the last couple of weeks. Blaming us users for not having the latest updates seems a bit of a cop out :-((
