I think painting the bricks grey the same as the garage would tie in well. Or you could render the front in a white render, which would highlight the windows. Or how about cladding it? Something like this
Perhaps only render or clad the part which currently has the dark bricks and maybe change the stone effect lower parts to dark grey bricks as in Sonia’s second photo.
You would then still conserve some of its original look but in a contemporary manner.
