Selling! Where to start?

Hi guys. So I am going to be removing this fireplace and surround and putting it up for sale. I don't really know where to start advertising it or what price to put it up for. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

http://houzz.com/photos/3642990 This link kind of demonstrates the use of mosaics and the mirror idea I thought may be cool. Obviously they are vertical but I think it would work either way. Any pics of your tiles? I have seen your other post and know your suite is 'traditional' but another thing to consider I guess is the cost of the mosaics. £££ using lots may mean a big dent in your budget.

ohhh This is perfect!! What a great start! I think at the moment I'm a little overwhelmed by the possibilities! The house was really thoughtfully 'modernised' in the 60's, where they kept the fire places and the like, but it hasnt been updated since and it's a blank canvas.

not alot happening at the moment, its winter! alotta rain, lotta. but i am bedding down to get this over with and maybe in the spring the spirits will rise once more. i hope so. i would love to feel i was doing something to keep my hopes and dreams alive, i dont see what i can do until the spring. when i bring the topic up, especially to those that moved away and came down this neck of the woods, they say they had friends who felt it was too far too and moved back home. i guess thats how i feel, thats what i want and i just want to be a bit more uplifted, i think rain dampens down things a bit!!! santa Ma Margaret!

Have a look on eBay/gumtree for similar things ... you can look on eBay and look at sold prices to get an idea of what things go for.. I think in general you will often get a higher price on eBay... but it's often worth waiting a week or 2 till eBay have a £1 selling fee. also List it on gumtree/ FB market place simultaneously if you get a great offer on there, you can always cancel the listing
