Dressing hallway sideboard advice
Comments (6)Nice art but a bit too large for this spot. See how the frame is above your door frame. If it were mine, since the door appears to open into the next room, I'd consider modifying the sideboard to be used as a rad cover and lower the art so its center is 5' above the floor. It can stand on its own, and you can paint the frame the same color as the sideboard to unify them and the space. You might also add an art light that attaches to the piece for more evening interest....See MoreHallway advice needed!
Comments (17)Hi. Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area, I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Please check out my website if you like the idea and please get in contact, commission work is also welcomed so if you like a particular style I can do in a select colour palette and size as an original pieceā¦..Iām also able to produce all original paintings in high end print format, in any size same or smaller than the original. (all within proportions to the original so not to cause distortion) All prints shown are Giclee prints onto soft textured fine art media. All prints come with a white border these can be made to measure too. So lots of options, www.guigsart.co.uk...See MoreGrey windows what colour front door advice please
Comments (5)Hi Becky I'm not sure what style you are looking for but try www.solidor.co.uk These are the best low maintenance front doors you can get with lots of options on colours, inside and out. We are one of their installers in Colchester and have four on display, if we are near enough pop in, if not just find a local installer. if you are after timber we supply Bereco, again go to their website, not cheap but beautiful. We also can supply Grey windows, not in 50 shades, but in 3, so you can have from light to dark. Anything else just ask. Regards Joe...See MoreWall colour change in open hallway
Comments (3)Love your room, we have Farrow & Ball Mizzle, its a light greyish green with Little Green Clay Mid which is really a soft white with a tiny hint of grey on skirtings and doors. That would leave you free to go for a stronger colour on the back alcove walls without 'darking' the room much. The upper sample green on your wall should match well with these colours. Colour would be easily brought (and changed) in with rug, cushions etc, HTHs...See Morerachelmidlands
