Do you guys think Cornforth White masonry will work?

The north facing exterior of our dwelling needs painting.

Was thinking of using F&B’s Cornforth White

for the masonry and a plain white for the woodwork.

Would that ‘two tone’ style work or should we perhaps just stick to plain white overall?

The door will stay as is in F&B Pigeon (there is some internal woodwork in Pigeon too).

I’m also thinking of painting the wrought iron wall railings (see photo) and an iron gate (not visible in photo) in exterior eggshell F&B Off Black.

The paint on the railings is in reasonable nick but is in gloss paint. Do you think I would need to undercoat/prime them first?

Your thoughts please! :)
