Comments (1)I don't think you will ever regret siting the sink away from the window as this, I feel, is always mistake No. 1 - what a waste of light!! I have divided my square kitchen into three: a "U-shaped", "ergo-thingamy" kitchen, a laundry, and a scullery. The two big windows cut the number of cupboards down drastically on two walls. The surface under the windows is a joy as I can work inspired by the view and the sink has a strip light over it central to the room. The doors are at diagonal corners. Do try writing down what is to go in each cupboard as this makes for a comfy to use kitchen in the long term. Enjoy....See MoreKitchen design advice please!!
