I had a cream suite in my previous house and to modernise the room for sale, I painted the walls grey and got a grey wood replacement bath panel. In this house I have a similar panel and I just sanded it and painted with a satin wood paint.
Perhaps find a grey loo seat, then colour match the panel with it? I will try to find the pics of the grey/cream bathroom and post them so you can see the colours together.
We think a nice off white colour for the bath panel and a kilim rug, plus some traditional art display on the wall would go great with the existing loo.
