Marble Effect Porcelain

After days of searching the internet, local tile merchants and ordering countless samples, I can’t find a decent carrara marble effect porcelain tile with a rectified edge - that is the right size to create a herringbone pattern on my bathroom floor.... can anyone help.

The picture below is the style that I’m looking for.

Did you see these? https://www.porcelainsuperstore.co.uk/antique-marble.html They aren't as grey as in your inspiration photo though.

Hi Bernice, Congrats on your new kitchen ! Your new kitchen looks very nice. Very clean, simple, sleek design. Either #2 grey or #3 Cream would work nicely. The cream would make your kitchen feel lighter, brighter; it is very pretty, not bland at all. Since your ovens-side cabinets are already dark, maybe the grey would make the kitchen feel too dark and heavy ? #3 Cream would be my pick, given these 4 choices. :) ( For our recent remodel, I also went with either off-white or cream-ish for all the countertops -- kitchen and all the bathrooms :) From your idea books :) --

Maybe if you stuck to one colour scheme such as white and purple or grey and lime green, colours that compliment each other. You could have a cabinet on the larger side with some family photos or a mirror above it and maybe a single colour on the top half of the wall and a complimentary wallpaper on the bottom half. You could go for wood on the floor or a simple soft carpet but it might get muddy. You could also have a bench with storage underneath for shoes and bags, but try get a colour that matched the walls. You could also paint the banisters if they don't match the rest of the room.

I like the wood effect tile. If properly placed it might give the impression of an actual wood floor. Well apart from colour i guess one would have to conisder how easy they are to clean with stains and all. But more importantly how slippery they are when dry, when wet or when there is a little bit of oil on it.

A15) @Dara Cooke: If you can't afford a quartz or granite worktop from day one then I would recommend using a laminate worktop as a temporary solution. If you don't put tiles up as a backsplash then replacing the worktops can be relatively easy in a couple of years.
