Are these of any use?

Previous owner of the house left 6 of these wooden containers behind. No idea what they were for but a couple of them have the tops off and made into a planter box. Originally I thought about filling/painting them all and using them as planters myself, but frankly I can't be bothered, i'd rather just pay for nice new ones.
But do you think anyone would want them? Otherwise i'll saw them in half and take them to the dump tomorrow.
